🙏 Honor Your Ancestors Through Gau Seva During Pitru Paksha 🐄 As part of honoring and remembering our ancestors during Pitru Paksha, Texas Gaushala is offering a special Gau Seva and Cow Feeding Program. Offering food and care to Gau Mata during this sacred period is traditionally believed to bring peace to our departed ancestors and blessings, harmony, and well-being to the family. 🕉️ What Your Seva Includes Your participation includes: Sankalp Do-it-yourself Gau Pooja Offering feed to the cows Pradakshina (circumambulation) around the cow You may participate by sponsoring cow feeding remotely or by joining us in person at Texas Gaushala. 📅 Dates: Sunday, September 27 – Sunday, October 11, 2026 🕘 Times: 9:30 AM–12:30 PM and 4:00 PM–7:00 PM 📍 Location: Texas Gaushala 🌿 What to Bring Texas Gaushala will provide all required cow feed. If you wish, you may bring fruits such as apples or carrots to offer to the cows. Please do not bring cooked food or pind/pindas. 🌸 Remote Gau Seva Remote participation is also available. When completing your booking, please mention “Remote” in the comments. For most verified remote bookings, the Texas Gaushala team will perform the Gau Seva in your name. Where appropriate, we may call out your gotra or the names of your ancestors during the seva.
