Giving Through Zeffy

1. Is Zeffy really free for nonprofits?
Yes. Zeffy is completely free for nonprofit organizations. They receive 100% of your donation with no platform or transaction fees deducted.

2. Where does my donation go?
Your full donation amount goes directly to the nonprofit you are supporting. The organization receives exactly what you choose to give.

3. Why am I asked to add a tip?
Zeffy is funded by optional donor tips. These tips help Zeffy operate the platform at no cost to nonprofits.

4. Is the tip mandatory?
No. The tip is completely optional. You can reduce it to zero by selecting the “Other” option in the dropdown menu and entering $0.

5. Who receives the tip?
Tips go to Zeffy to support platform operations and services. They do not go to the nonprofit.

6. Will I receive a donation receipt?
Yes. An official donation receipt is generated immediately after your contribution is completed.

7. Is my payment secure?
Yes. Zeffy uses secure payment processing systems to ensure your personal and financial information is protected.

Nonprofits receive the donor details you choose to share, which helps them acknowledge and thank supporters.
