- 11You can adopt a cow by clicking on our cow adoption service. Click on https://www.texasgaushala.com/donate and click on Adopt a cow service. It takes $500 USD per month to adopt a cow. Once you are able to submit a form then please message us at info@texasgaushala.com and we will set up adoption pooja for you. Adopting a cow can be a meaningful and compassionate choice, especially if you're interested in supporting animal welfare or sustainable agriculture. However, it's essential to clarify what you mean by "adopting a cow," as there are different ways to interpret that phrase. Cow Adoption Programs: Texas Gaushala offer programs where you can symbolically adopt a cows. In such cases, you typically make a donation, and in return, you receive information about the specific cow you are supporting. This can include updates on the cow's well-being, pictures, and even visits to the Texas Gaushala. Sponsoring a cow often involves contributing to their ongoing care, including food, veterinary expenses, and a safe place to live. Texas Gaushala aimed at preserving specific breeds, promoting sustainable farming practices, or educating the public about the importance of ethical treatment of cows. - 12Gau Grass (गौ ग्रास) is an ancient tradition mentioned in Hindu scriptures, where cows are fed before anyone in the family consumes food. Texas Gaushala offers this initiative through a subscription service for a dollar a day. Subscribers will have a Sankalpa performed for them, and the cows will be fed daily. At the end of the year, we will perform a Krishna-arpana of this seva, praying for the grace of Shri Gopala Krishna for the entire family. Subscribers can also feed the cows in person once a month.
