Gaushala Finances
Any non profit can not run without the finances and Texas Gaushala has an open policy to display yearly finances which tell about the healthiness of an organization. As our cows are increasing we are getting more expenses and running various programs to match those expenses.
Feeding
The daily nourishment of every cow and bull in our care — the most immediate and ongoing need of the Gaushala. Daily fodder and fresh grass for the entire herd. Clean drinking water and water access points. Supplemental feed for pregnant, nursing, and elderly cows: Feed storage and procurement
Infrastructure
Building and maintaining the physical sanctuary — the barns, shades, enclosures, and water bodies that give every cow a safe, dignified home. Barns and covered shelters for the herd. Dedicated areas for pregnant cows. Separate enclosures for sick and recovering cows
Shaded resting areas and water bodies. Safe separate spaces for bulls to prevent conflict
Veterinary care
Keeping every cow healthy — from routine check-ups to emergency treatments and long-term medical support. Routine health check-ups and vaccinations, Emergency and critical care treatments, Pregnant cow monitoring and birth support, Medicines, supplements, and medical supplies
Miscellaneous
The behind-the-scenes work that keeps the Gaushala legally protected, financially sustainable, and staffed with dedicated people. Legal counsel and compliance support. Grant research and applications. Salaries for Gaushala employees and caretakers. County permits, zoning, and operational approvals
