Vijay Krishna D,
Musician | Singer
Vijay krishna D was born in Mysore, Karnataka. He hails from a family of eminent musicians, Bellary brothers.
His initial training in Carnatic classical music was under the tutelage of his mother Smt Anasuya Dwarakanth, who is also an established Carnatic vocalist in Bangalore.
He learnt the Western classical Piano and has appeared for a number of examinations conducted with an affiliation to ‘The London College of Music’ & ‘Trinity College of London’.
Vijay Krishna has been actively involved in the music industry since 2006 and has worked extensively for many Feature films,Tele Serials, Documentaries, Radio and TV jingles, Multimedia and devotional albums .
He is a multi-faceted musician who is a Music Composer, Arranger, Singer and a Sound engineer, who also owns a recording studio at Bangalore.
His sound knowledge in both Indian classical and Western classical music works like a charm in bringing both the art forms together.
He has also accompanied many artists on the Keyboard and has performed in both India and abroad on many occasions.
He has also collaborated with many music celebrities like SP Bala Subramaniam , KJ yesudas, Hariharan, Shankar Mahadevan, KS Chitra, Vijay Prakash, K.Kalyan to name a few.
Vijay Krishna’s recent film Sri Jagannatha Dasaru & Sri Prasanna Venkata Dasaru & upcoming Sri Vijaya Dasaru is well appreciated by people of all age groups. All the songs in the album are well received by everyone, his songs Vithalayya Vithalayya went on to become a sensational hit and is very close to everyone’s heart. This humongous response led him to the Project Vithalayya, which is a YouTube channel & a music School, A divine platform to celebrate and cherish the rich heritage of Sanathana Dharma by collaborating with the next Gen musicians across the globe.
